ROLE OVERVIEW
The Floor Manager is the operational engine and sales leader of the Trip factory floor. You are responsible for driving the daily performance of a team of Sales Experts, ensuring revenue targets are met, SLAs are strictly adhered to, and operational discipline is maintained across the full Sell → Book → Visa → Confirm → Support
journey.

This is a high-impact leadership role that requires balancing commercial drive with operational rigour. You will manage rostering, enforce attendance and CRM discipline, track team productivity, and provide end-to-end support to resolve complex booking escalations. Your success is measured by your team’s revenue output, conversion rates, and zero-error operational delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Sales Leadership & Revenue Delivery: Own the monthly and quarterly revenue targets for your assigned team of Sales Experts. Conduct daily huddles to review pipeline, forecast revenue, and drive conversion. Step in to assist with complex negotiations, close high-value deals, and ensure margins are protected across all bookings.
  2. SLA Management & Productivity Tracking: Monitor live lead queues and ensure 100% adherence to first-response SLAs. Track daily productivity metrics (calls made, quotes sent, bookings closed) and hold team members accountable. Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and implement immediate corrective actions.
  3. Rostering & Attendance Discipline: Design and manage team rosters to ensure optimal floor coverage during peak enquiry hours and weekends. Enforce strict attendance, login discipline, and schedule adherence. Manage leave approvals while ensuring business continuity.
  4. End-to-End Support Operations: Act as the primary escalation point for complex itineraries, supplier issues, and visa challenges. Ensure the team strictly follows the 5-phase booking journey (Component Booking, Flight Coordination, Visa Tracking, Confirmation & Documentation) with zero errors. Conduct spot checks on booking files and travel document packs.
  5. Reporting & Team Coordination: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management. Conduct regular 1-on-1 performance reviews and coaching sessions using simplified, user-friendly assessment frameworks. Coordinate seamlessly with the Flights, Visa, and Product teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience: 6–10 years in the travel industry (FIT, MICE, Groups), with a minimum of 2 years in a Team Leader or Floor Manager capacity.
  • Leadership Track Record: Proven ability to manage a team of 10+ sales agents, consistently hitting revenue targets while maintaining high operational standards and low attrition.
  • Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of travel CRMs, lead management systems, rostering tools, and the end-to-end travel booking lifecycle.
  • Communication: Strong command of English with the ability to handle high-level client escalations and present clear performance reports to management.
