ROLE OVERVIEW
As a key member of the Global Finance Operations team, the Treasury Manager oversees all treasury- related activities across multiple geographies. This role is critical for optimizing liquidity, managing financial risks, and ensuring the efficient execution of both outward and inward financial transactions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in reconciliation, vendor finance management, foreign exchange handling, and financial cost control while maintaining strict compliance and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outward Remittance: Ensure timely, accurate processing of outward remittances including wallet uploads, vendor advances, payout processing, and indirect payments. Implement robust checks to ensure global and local regulatory compliance.
- Inward Collection: Manage inward collections across B2B, B2C, and Suspense Accounts. Oversee reconciliation of the TF Universal Wallet and ensure accurate attribution of collections against receivables with zero error tolerance.
- Reconciliation: Lead reconciliation processes across multiple financial touchpoints (banks, digital wallets, payment gateways). Ensure system alignment, identify variances, and drive timely resolution.
- Credit Control: Drive proactive collection strategies, enforce credit policies, and collaborate with commercial teams to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). Improve recovery metrics and minimize credit risk.
- Vendor Financial Health: Oversee vendor onboarding with a robust due diligence and compliance checklist. Conduct periodic financial health assessments to classify vendors and mitigate risk.
- Global FX Management: Manage foreign exchange exposure and mitigate risks through effective country-level FX strategies. Collaborate with banks to hedge exposures and secure favorable currency positions
- Cost Control: Develop systems to monitor financial costs and identify inefficiencies. Focus on reducing finance costs year-on-year and increasing revenue from float income, FX gains, and interest optimization.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Treasury & FX: Deep understanding of FX risk management, credit control, working capita optimization, and corporate treasury functions.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in ERP systems and advanced reconciliation tools.
- Analytical Leadership: Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to lead cross functional collaboration. Communication Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with banks, external stakeholders, and internal teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA, CA, or CFA qualification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 6–10 years of experience in corporate treasury, with proven global exposure and a track record of managing high-volume remittances and reconciliations.
- Compensation: CTC will be based on last drawn salary. Current market range for this profile is ₹12 – 18 LPA. Trip Factory offers a competitive package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
