ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Europe Holiday Sales Expert, you are the primary driver of revenue for our premium European portfolio. You will manage the entire lifecycle of high-value itineraries, from initial enquiry to final departure, handling Group Tours, FIT Holidays, Customised Packages, and Premium Family Holidays. Revenue ownership is a core and non-negotiable part of this role. You will carry personal monthly and quarterly revenue targets and be held fully accountable for your pipeline, conversion rates, and margin contribution.
You are a destination specialist who knows Europe intimately. Whether designing a complex 10-day Switzerland and Italy itinerary, explaining the nuances of the Schengen visa process, or upselling a premium rail pass, your expertise builds trust and closes deals. Deliverables and productivity expectations are measured closely at Trip factory. Performance accountability is embedded in our culture, every team member is expected to understand their commercial contribution and grow it consistently over time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales & Conversion (Revenue Ownership): Handle inbound and outbound holiday sales queries for Europe destinations. Sell Group Tours, FIT Holidays, Customised Packages, Honeymoon Packages, and Luxury Tours. Convert leads into bookings through consultative selling, consistently achieving monthly revenue and conversion targets.
- Destination Expertise & Itinerary Design: Leverage deep knowledge of Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and the UK & Ireland. Understand customer requirements to design suitable, flawless itineraries. Guide clients on rail passes (e.g., Eurail, Swiss Pass), attractions, and local experiences.
- Customer Handling & Visa Guidance: Act as a trusted advisor to clients. Provide end-to-end guidance on the Schengen and UK visa processes, travel insurance, and documentation. Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and high customer satisfaction scores.
- Coordination & Operational Delivery: Work seamlessly with product, operations, and contracting teams. Coordinate directly with DMCs, suppliers, and hotels to ensure the smooth delivery of booked holidays. Manage last-minute changes and handle complex customer escalations with a customer-first mindset.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in outbound holiday sales, specifically handling Europe Group Departures, FIT, and Customized Holidays.
- Destination Knowledge: Strong Europe destination knowledge. Candidates who have personally travelled to Europe or have extensively handled Europe operations end-to-end will be given preference.
- Sales & Visa Expertise: Excellent sales closing ability with a strong track record. Deep understanding of the Schengen visa process and strong itinerary-building skills.
- Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Hindi. Additional regional language expertise (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi) is highly preferred for handling South & West India customers.
- Education: Graduate in any discipline. Travel & Tourism certification is preferred.
