To reach the Bamboo tree tunnel take the Mittraphap Road. Continue on this route till you reach the Saraburi intersection. Look for a road on the left side of Mittraphap Road that leads to highway 2224. This is the road you need to take to the tunnel.

It is best to visit the temple during the winter time as you will be able to enjoy the cool breeze while hiking. Avoid the rainy season for a safe and enjoyable experience. Located in the Sankambeng Range, it is part of the Dong Phaya Yen Forest, previously called Dong Phaya Fai. Khao Yai is the first national park in Thailand. It covers parts of 11 districts across four provinces in Thailand. It is well known for its mountains, forest and waterfalls.
