This is the only mall in Bangkok where you can navigate a shop with the help of a map. It has 4 main areas where you will find most of the things. In the Chareonkrung District you will get souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelry, and clothing. In the factory district you will get cutting edge fashion and gadgets. Waterfront District includes fine dining restaurants. In the Town Square district you will have large space for outdoor events and bars. There are iconic spots like KFC, Pizza Company, and Au Bon Pain dotted around the mall.

How to reach Asiatique The Riverfront?
Getting to Asiatique The Riverfront is really easy. It is located just a 10-minute boat ride from Saphan Taksin BTS station. So it is easy to reach and a joy to explore. First you need to take the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin station. From here you can board the Asiatique boat from Sathorn Pier. Alternatively to reach faster you can hire a local taxi which will take approximately 40 – 45 minutes to reach the location.

The East Asiatic Company was discovered in the year 1897, was one of several Western trading companies operating in Siam at the time. It owned certain port facilities along the Chao Phraya River, including a warehouse. The port stopped the operations very soon in 1947, and the site was suddenly of no use. In May 2011, real estate company TCC Land planned to turn the land into a major entertainment and retail complex. The name of the complex was later finalised as Asiatique The Riverfront.
