Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, data-driven Social Media Manager to lead and execute our social media strategy from our Siliguri office. The ideal candidate is passionate about travel, understands content trends, and can drive engagement, brand visibility, and conversions across multiple platforms. You will manage our daily social media operations, create compelling travel content, collaborate with design and marketing teams, and play a key role in strengthening TripFactory’s digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
- Plan monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, seasonality, and trending destinations.
- Build awareness and engagement for international and domestic travel packages.
2️⃣ Content Creation & Management
- Oversee daily posting, scheduling, and content publishing.
- Work with designers, video editors & influencers to create high-quality travel content.
- Write compelling captions, scripts, and storyboards.
- Ensure brand consistency, tone, and visual identity across platforms.
3️⃣ Analytics, Reporting & Performance
- Track KPIs: engagement, reach, followers, CTR, and lead contribution.
- Analyze insights to improve content strategy and campaign performance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
4️⃣ Community Engagement
- Respond to comments, messages, and queries across all platforms.
- Manage online reputation and handle customer interactions professionally.
- Build active travel communities through polls, Q&As, reels, and stories.
5️⃣ Trend & Competitor Analysis
- Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, reels, and travel hashtags.
- Monitor competitor campaigns and identify new opportunities.
6️⃣ Collaboration & Campaign Execution
- Work closely with performance marketers, designers, and product teams.
- Support social-led campaigns, festive promotions, influencer collaborations, and destination marketing initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 1 – 2 years of experience in Social Media Management.
- Strong experience with Instagram Reels, Shorts, Stories & travel content formats.
- Basic knowledge of Canva / Photoshop / video editing tools (preferred).
- Understanding of social media analytics and scheduling tools.
- Experience in travel industry is a plus.
