ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Asia Holiday Sales Expert, you are the primary driver of revenue for Trip Factory’s premium Asian portfolio. You will manage the entire lifecycle of high-value itineraries, from initial enquiry through to final departure, handling Group Tours, FIT Holidays, Customised Packages, Honeymoon Holidays, and Premium Family Trips. Revenue ownership is a core and non-negotiable part of this role. You will carry personal monthly and quarterly revenue targets and be held fully accountable for your pipeline, conversion rates, and margin contribution.
You are a destination specialist who knows Asia intimately. Whether you are designing a multi-country South-East Asia itinerary, advising on the best time to visit Japan, or upselling a premium Maldives resort experience, your expertise builds client trust and closes deals. Deliverables and productivity expectations are measured closely at Trip Factory. Performance accountability is embedded in our culture and every team member is expected to understand their commercial contribution and grow it consistently over time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales & Conversion (Revenue Ownership): Handle inbound and outbound holiday sales enquiries for Asia destinations. Sell Group Tours, FIT Holidays, Customised Packages, Honeymoon Packages, and Luxury Tours. Convert leads into confirmed bookings through consultative selling, and consistently achieve monthly revenue and conversion targets.
- Destination Expertise & Itinerary Design: Leverage deep, first-hand knowledge of key Asia destinations including Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea, Dubai, and the Philippines. Understand client requirements and design tailored, flawless itineraries. Guide clients on visa requirements, entry regulations, and the best travel experiences for each destination.
- Customer Handling & Visa Guidance: Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey. Provide clear guidance on visa processes, travel insurance, and documentation for all Asia destinations. Build strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and consistently high customer satisfaction scores.
- Coordination & Operational Delivery: Work seamlessly with Trip Factory’s product, operations, and contracting teams. Coordinate directly with DMCs, suppliers, and hotels to ensure the smooth, error-free delivery of every booked holiday. Manage last-minute changes and handle complex customer escalations with a calm, customer-first approach.
PERFORMANCE CULTURE & ACCOUNTABILITY
Trip Factory is a high-performance organisation. We invest significantly in our people, in training, tools, leads, and product quality and we expect a strong commercial return on that investment. The baseline expectation for every Sales Expert is the ability to generate at least 10x of their salary value in revenue contribution over time. This is not a ceiling, it is a foundation. Our top performers consistently exceed this benchmark. Deliverables and productivity expectations are tracked daily, weekly, and monthly. You will be measured on lead response time, conversion rate, average booking value, revenue generated, and operational accuracy. Regular performance reviews are conducted in a transparent and supportive environment. We celebrate high achievement and provide clear, honest feedback to help every team member grow.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in outbound holiday sales, specifically handling Asia Group Departures, FIT, and Customised Holidays.
- Destination Knowledge: Strong Asia destination knowledge across South-East Asia, North Asia, and the Indian Ocean. Candidates who have personally travelled to Asia destinations or have extensively handled Asia operations end to-end will be given strong preference.
- Sales Expertise: Excellent sales closing ability with a demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding personal revenue targets. Strong itinerary-building and negotiation skills.
- Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Hindi. Additional regional language expertise, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Marathi is highly preferred for handling South and West India customers.
- Education: A graduate degree in any discipline. A Travel and Tourism certification is preferred.
