A tour operator is an organization that provides transportation and lodging together as part of a package tour, package vacation, or package holiday. Additional services like a vacation vehicle rental, events, or excursions might be offered.

To see the main sights, including as Thimphu, Paro, and Tiger’s Nest Monastery, a tour lasting seven to twelve days is ideal. The possibility of extending the trip may rely on a number of things, such as additional hikes and activities. Therefore, a 7–12 day visit is sufficient to fully immerse yourself in Bhutanese culture.

Bhutan’s off-season, which spans the wet months of June through August, is a more reasonably priced period to visit the nation. Flights and lodging may become somewhat more affordable, but you may not be able to go hiking or enjoy breathtaking mountain vistas.

While Airtel and Vodafone do function in Bhutan (albeit with spotty service), it is strongly advised to get a local sim in Phuentshloing for INR 200 in order to get in touch with drivers and local agencies.

Indian rupees are widely accepted as change and may be spent easily in Bhutan. All around Bhutan, denominations up to 500 Rupees are accepted. You will be given wads of cash and there are no coins.
