The hotel was unhygienic, with pest control issues and a dead rat in the room. The vehicle provided had a noisy engine, and the driver was unfamiliar with the locations. Despite reaching out to Trip Factory's customer support during the trip, I didn't receive any meaningful assistance or resolution. *Details:* Booking ID: TFN00Y5N273 However, I'd like to extend my gratitude to Sonalika from Trip Factory's Escalation Team for her efforts in getting me a refund and understanding my disappointments. Despite initial disappointments, Sonalika was responsive and worked towards providing a partial refund, ensuring that such issues wouldn't recur in the future. I appreciate the efforts made to address my concerns and provide a resolution. It's great to see Trip Factory's Escalation Team taking steps to make things right. We had planned a trip to Sri Lanka in September 2025 through TripFactory. Our tour planner, Mr. Nalendu, arranged everything very well by accommodating all our requests and customizing the 9-day itinerary exactly as per our preferences. He attended to us with great patience, understanding the needs of senior citizens, and ensured that every detail was considered. Unfortunately, due to a steep hike in flight fares during the Dussehra holidays, we had to postpone our trip. However, we sincerely appreciate the effort and dedication shown by Mr. Nalendu throughout the planning process. We had a wonderful experience with your tour planning and execution. Everything was very well organized, and the facilities provided to the group were excellent. The overall idea behind the arrangements was very thoughtful and truly helpful for everyone. The trip went smoothly, and we enjoyed it a lot. However, one point we would like to highlight is regarding the shared boat to Phi Phi Island. The speed boat did not feel safe or comfortable, especially for kids. Considering there are many good alternatives available, we feel a larger shared boat would be safer and more convenient for travelers. We kindly suggest not recommending speed boats for future trips, as safety should always come first. Special thanks to Sangita Rai for her efforts in making our journey so easy and memorable.
