Day 1: Arrival Njp Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport and Transfer to Gangtok

Once you reach in NJP or Bagdogra airport, you do not wait long for your transportation. Our representative will wait for you and receive you with a warm welcome. After that, you are transferred to Gangtok by a luxurious car. 130 Kms or a 4.30 to 5-long journey you will proceed to enjoy the incredible beauty of the road, the lush green hills, and the immense forest.

After reaching Gangtok, check in at our 4-star luxurious accommodations and freshen up. In the evening you can spend your day in MG Marg, the crowded and lively area of the city. In the evening, take stroll on MG Marg, the main street of Gangtok. MG Road is an ideal place for an aimless stroll in Gangtok. Don't forget to taste some local delicacies during this time such as momos (steamed dumplings) and thukpa (a hearty noodle soup). If you want to try these two local cousins, you must visit Taste of Tibet and the iconic Momo Roll Corner.

Day 2: Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Day Excursion

On day 2, a Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Day Excursion trip will wait for you. After a heavy breakfast early in the morning, you will be driven about 43 km away from Gangtok. You will be traveling to Tsomgo Lake which is situated at an altitude of 3,753 m or12,313 ft above sea level and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. This oval-shaped blue lake is spanning 1 km long and 15 m deep. It is one of the sacred lake for local people. The best time to visit this to enjoy snow is between December and April.

After that, you are driven to the Baba Mandir, dedicated to Major Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army. It is said that Major Harbhajan Singh is still guarding the Indo-China border. It is situated at 13100Ft/3994Mts above sea level. All the things worn by this Mandir Baba Harbhajan Singh are kept very carefully, which is very sacred to the locals. If you have permits and the weather is pleasant, you can travel to Nathula Pass, the Indo-China border, heavily protected by the Indian Army and border forces.

The journey is extremely exhilarating; you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After spending some time in both places, return to the hotel in the evening. You can spend the evening at leisure and can go for a romantic dinner at MG Marg. Overnight stay at Hotel in Gangtok.

Day 3: Full-Day Gangtok Sight-seeing tour

After heavy breakfast, you will be taken on our luxurious transportation to Gangtok surrounding site-seeing tours such as Tashi View Point, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Bakthang Falls, Do-Dul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Flower Show and Enchey Monastery. Return to the hotel. Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok are the highest towers of Gangtok from where the evening capital city looks mesmerizing.

After freshening up you can spend the evening at MG Marg and do some shopping. MG Marg and Lal market are such areas where you can find everything. Overnight stay at Gangtok 4-star accommodation which ensures a peaceful night stay.

Remember the Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom Flower Show are closed on Saturday & Sunday and Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays. So you should visit.

Days 4: Transfer to Darjeeling from Gangtok

An amazing ride through a beautiful route awaits you on the forth day. After a delicious breakfast, you will check out from Gangtok Hotel. Then proceed towards Darjeeling via the road surrounded by green tea estates. Teesta River will run with you on the way. You will be mesmerized by the unprecedented view of Kanchenjunga.

After reaching Queen of Hills Darjeeling in the afternoon, check-in at our 4-star hotel.After freshening up and taking some rest, you can spend the evening strolling around Mall Road. It is also the most visited and crowded area of Darjeeling which is the home to several elite restaurants and cafés. So you can have dinner at any good restaurant. Don't forget to taste the local tea. Darjeeling tea is famous all over the world for its taste and smell.

Day 5: Full Day Darjeeling sightseeing tour

On the fifth day, you can start with a breathtaking sunrise over the Kanchenjunga hills. So, you have to go to Tiger Hill early in the morning. After spending some time in the region, return to Gangtok, visiting the Batasia Loop and gorgeous Ghoom Monastery on the way.

After hotel breakfast you proceed to enjoy other tourist places of the city like the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ava Art Gallery, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, P.N. One can enjoy the Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, an ancient Japanese temple, zoo exhibit. In the evening you can spare for shopping, and visit the local markets. Overnight stay at a hotel in Darjeeling.

Vehicle as mentioned in the booking will be provided. Extra charges will be applicable if additional vehicle or upgraded vehicle is required due to travellers carrying extra or oversized luggage.
Tiger hill visit is subjected to availability of coupons as only 300 vehicles are allowed in the morning. Uncase of non-availability of coupons, we will provide the sightseeing at 10:00 am after breakfast.
While traveling to Tshangu Lake, Nathula Pass, Baba Mandir customers should carry valid photo ID proof which can ONLY be one of Driving License, Voter Card or Valid Passport.
NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign Nationals are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 2 years & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake.
Pan Card & Aadhar Card is not accepted as ID Proof to visit Nathula Pass, Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. The Photo ID Proof can be anyone of the following, Driving License, Voter Card, Valid Passport.
Most of the 2 star and 3 star hotels provide only Mattress not Extra bed.
At times due to events which are beyond control (e.g. local strikes, natural calamities), schedules and itineraries may be subject to last minute changes.
Telephone / Internet networks are non-existent in some areas.
Due to poor road infrastructure in North-east, journey between 2 places may take longer than expected. Top speed may be restricted to 30 km/hr at some places.
NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign Nationals will be allowed to visit Lachung, Yumthang & Yumesamdong, with a valid permit.
It is not advisable to visit Lachen from 1st January till 15th March as roads are closed due to snow.

Driving in hilly areas which are different from normal driving, speed limit would be 30 kms per hour.
Vehicles in Hill Areas – Even if you opt for AC vehicle, in hill stations AC is non-operational to avoid damage or mid-trip break down of the vehicle for your own convenience. Also, in several hill areas, commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music to prevent accidents
All entrance tickets to Museums , Monastries, Gardens, or any other Sightseeing spots are to be borne by the Customer and paid directly at the destination.
For Extra Person Sharing the Room & Child with Extra Bed, almost all the hotel of our area provides MATTRESS and ROLL OVERS as a supplement to Extra Bed.
The vehicle used will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point to point basis). It will change sector wise.
Credit cards / travellers checks are not freely accepted in North-east.
The AC will be on when the car is on move only. While travelling in the plains the clients would need AC, which will be switch on. When the car is travelling uphill AC will be switched off.
Most of the hotels do not have lift. You will have to climb stairs to reach your allotted rooms. Incase any of you, have problems with blood pressure, breathing, knee & heart or if you cannot climb the higher floors, you should report
Most hotels in north-east are very basic and may not be equivalent to similar star category hotels elsewhere in India.
As the vehicles & drivers change always, we will request you to be very careful with personal belongings. Once left in the vehicle, there is, almost nil or little chance, of getting it back.
At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).
Any ticket to attractions, museums, train, cable car, ferries, rides, safari, etc. are not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
