Tourist spots include Kupup’s Yak Golf Course
This golf course is found at an altitude of 13,025 feet. In 1972, the Guinness Book of Records called it the world’s most amazing golf course. That’s when the Yak Golf Course was established. By 1979, a major uplift was underway.
Under the keen eye of Brigadier J M Singh, the revamp took shape. But it wasn’t complete yet. Brigadier Ranbir Singh and Col T K Murali picked up where he left off. They saw it through. In the end, all 18 holes of the golf course were completely renovated.
