Kanchenjunga Falls is a serene site where you can witness a 100 feet high waterfall cascading down the hill. This waterfall has become a renowned point of interest for both tourists as well as locals. You can find small pools of freshwater near the waterfalls that make this place an ideal picnic spot.

Till the early 1990s, this place was hidden from the public, but a local travel agent, Topjor Bhutia discovered this place and by that time, this spot had grown up to be a popular tourist destination. The rich flora and fauna around the waterfall will make you feel relaxed amidst nature.

The gushing sound of water and the chirping of birds will make you feel relaxed and calm. It is said that the source of this waterfall is the ice glacier of Mt. Kanchenjunga.

How to Reach

Kanchenjunga Falls is situated close to Yuksom at a distance of 10.3 km and will take about 30 minutes to reach the destination. After reaching the falls, you need to climb 50 steps to reach the waterfall.

You can book a private car for traveling to Kanchenjunga Falls. You can visit this waterfall throughout the week in between 8 AM to 5 PM. There is an entry fee worth ₹20 to enter this waterfall.
