Day 1: Arrival Njp Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport and Transfer to Gangtok

After arriving at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport in the morning, you don't have to face the chaos of taxi drivers, tourists, and travel agents. You will meet our executive at the airport or railway station for you. He will drive you to Gangtok in a luxurious vehicle while enjoying the incredible natural beauty of the road.

It takes around 4 hours to reach Gangtok from Bagdogra and NJP railway stations. So if you reach the Airport or NJP in the morning you will reach Gangtok Hotel by noon. In the evening you can walk around the beautiful and well-maintained city of Gangtok. Overnight at Gangtok

Day 2: Gangtok Full Day Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven on a full-day sightseeing tour with a luxurious car covering Tashi View Point, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Bakthang Falls, Do-Dul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Flower Show and Enchey Monastery. After returning to Gangtok, you can take a stroll to MG Marg and do some shopping for your dearest one. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Remember the Do-Dul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, and Flower Show are closed on Saturday & Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays.

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachen

After breakfast early in the morning, you will be ready to visit Lachen, a beautiful village in north Sikkim. You will be picked up from the hotel early in the morning and proceed to Lachen which is 130 Kms or 06 hrs away from Gangtok. It is situated at an altitude of 9000 ft. It is a long journey, so you need to take a break to visit Tashi View Point and Seven sister’s Waterfalls. You can take some food and tea on this spot. You will probably reach Lachen in the late afternoon or evening. After arriving, check in at our 3-star hotel. Dinner will be served there and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Lachen - Chopta Valley - Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung

Pack breakfast at 5 am and start the day with a scenic drive to Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake (17200 ft / 70 km / 4-5 hrs). It is a trip that will be an unforgettable memory. The journey will start almost dark in the morning. As you go higher, the sun's rays will spread over the snow peaks, it will look like mountains made of gold stand before you. At a distance of 02 to 2.5 hours from Lachen, you will take the first stop at Tshangu. A steep climb above 13000 Ft or 3963 Mts. Here you will find tea, bread butter, and maggi in your family kitchen. You can experience the mountain lifestyle by sitting around the clay oven in the cold.
After another 4 Kms or 30 to 45 minutes drive you will reach the virgin and uninhabited land of Chopta Valley situated at an altitude of 13500 Ft / 4116 Mts. Many tourists are not comfortable with heights, they should complete their visit to Chopta Valley near Tibet as there is a possibility of suffocation above it. This entire valley is covered with alpine vegetation.
From this place to Gurdongmar, almost the entire area is covered with army bunkers. It can be said to be a high desert where there is hardly any vegetation and all the terrain is rocky and dusty. The region is famous for its very cold and windy weather throughout the year. Advice is, since breathing here is a bit difficult, don't overexert yourself unnecessarily. In winter, the Gurdongmar lake is completely frozen which is very sacred to the local people. After spending some time at the lake, you will be transferred to Lachung (8000 ft / 2439 mts, 60 kms/ 3-4 hrs). Overnight stay at a hotel in Lachung.

Day 5: Excursion trip to Lachung - Yumthang Valley and return to Gangtok

After breakfast and check out from Lachung Hotel, you will go on a half-day sightseeing tour to Yumthang Valley which is covered with colorful Singba Rhododendrons. Situated at an altitude of 11800 feet or 3598 meters above sea level, this terrain surrounded by snow-capped peaks is a paradise in the lap of the Himalayas. The valley is also known to tourists for its hot springs, which are sacred to the locals. They believe that bathing in this water cures many diseases. Proceed for return to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok Hotel.

Day 6: Transfer from Gangtok to Darjeeling & Half day Sightseeing Tour in Darjeeling

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, you will be transferred to Darjeeling ‘the queen of the hill’. As you head towards Darjeeling, your road will be covered with lush green tea plantations and vast snow-capped Kanchan Jungha awaits you. It will take you around 4.30 hours to reach Darjeeling from Gangtok.

After reaching the city and checking in at the hotel, a half-day sightseeing tour will wait for you. The tour covers the visit to the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center & panoramic view of the Tea Garden. Overnight at Darjeeling Hotel.

Day 7: Transfer to NJP/ Bagdogra Airport:

After breakfast between 8.30 am to 9 am, you will check out from the hotel and drive to NJP or Bagdogra in a luxury vehicle. You will take with you a bunch of memories that can last a long time. Teesta Je and snow-covered Kanchan Jungha will bid you farewell on the road.

Vehicle as mentioned in the booking will be provided. Extra charges will be applicable if additional vehicle or upgraded vehicle is required due to travellers carrying extra or oversized luggage.
Tiger hill visit is subjected to availability of coupons as only 300 vehicles are allowed in the morning. Uncase of non-availability of coupons, we will provide the sightseeing at 10:00 am after breakfast.
While traveling to Tshangu Lake, Nathula Pass, Baba Mandir customers should carry valid photo ID proof which can ONLY be one of Driving License, Voter Card or Valid Passport.
NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign Nationals are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 2 years & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake.
Pan Card & Aadhar Card is not accepted as ID Proof to visit Nathula Pass, Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. The Photo ID Proof can be anyone of the following, Driving License, Voter Card, Valid Passport.
Most of the 2 star and 3 star hotels provide only Mattress not Extra bed.
At times due to events which are beyond control (e.g. local strikes, natural calamities), schedules and itineraries may be subject to last minute changes.

Due to poor road infrastructure in North-east, journey between 2 places may take longer than expected. Top speed may be restricted to 30 km/hr at some places.

It is not advisable to visit Lachen from 1st January till 15th March as roads are closed due to snow.

Driving in hilly areas which are different from normal driving, speed limit would be 30 kms per hour.
Vehicles in Hill Areas – Even if you opt for AC vehicle, in hill stations AC is non-operational to avoid damage or mid-trip break down of the vehicle for your own convenience. Also, in several hill areas, commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music to prevent accidents
All entrance tickets to Museums , Monastries, Gardens, or any other Sightseeing spots are to be borne by the Customer and paid directly at the destination.
For Extra Person Sharing the Room & Child with Extra Bed, almost all the hotel of our area provides MATTRESS and ROLL OVERS as a supplement to Extra Bed.
The vehicle used will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point to point basis). It will change sector wise.
Credit cards / travellers checks are not freely accepted in North-east.
The AC will be on when the car is on move only. While travelling in the plains the clients would need AC, which will be switch on. When the car is travelling uphill AC will be switched off.
Most of the hotels do not have lift. You will have to climb stairs to reach your allotted rooms. Incase any of you, have problems with blood pressure, breathing, knee & heart or if you cannot climb the higher floors, you should report
Most hotels in north-east are very basic and may not be equivalent to similar star category hotels elsewhere in India.
As the vehicles & drivers change always, we will request you to be very careful with personal belongings. Once left in the vehicle, there is, almost nil or little chance, of getting it back.
At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).
Any ticket to attractions, museums, train, cable car, ferries, rides, safari, etc. are not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
