Day 1: Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport and Transfer to Gangtok

While reaching NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be welcomed by our executive. You don't have to face taxi drivers, tourists, and travel agents. Then you will be transferred to a luxurious car and reach Gangtok in a luxurious vehicle while enjoying the incredible natural beauty of the road.

The journey from NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok is around 4 hours. After reaching, check in at Gangtok Hotel and take a rest. In the evening you can walk around the beautiful and well-maintained city of Gangtok. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 2: Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Day Excursion

On day 2, you will be driven to Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Day Excursion trip, which is the popular tour of Sikkim. After a heavy breakfast early in the morning, proceed to Tshangu Lake which is about 43 km away from the capital city. You will be traveling to Tsomgo Lake which is situated at an altitude of 3,753 m or12,313 ft above sea level and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. This oval-shaped holy blue lake spans 1 km long and 15 m deep which is the sacred lake for local people. If you want to enjoy the snow on the lake, the best time to visit this to enjoy snow is between December and April.

After that, you are driven to the Baba Mandir, dedicated to Major Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army. It is said that Major Harbhajan Singh is still guarding the Indo-China border. It is situated at 13100 Ft/3994 Mts above sea level. All the things worn by this Mandir Baba Harbhajan Singh are kept very carefully, which is very sacred to the locals.

Then you can the Nathula Pass, the Indo China Border. If you want to explore the place, let us know at least 3 days before getting the permit. The journey is extremely exhilarating; you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After spending some time in both places, return to the hotel in the evening. You can spend the evening at leisure and can go for a romantic dinner at MG Marg. Overnight stay at Hotel in Gangtok.

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachen

Third, you will be driven to Lachen, the small village in north Sikkim. Have a stomach-filling breakfast and start your trip at 8 to 8.30 am by checking out from Gangtok Hotel and proceeding towards Lachen. The village is at a height of 8800 feet, this beautiful mountain village is situated very close to the Tibetan border. Surrounded by apple orchards, the village is also home to the 19th-century Buddhist monastery.

On the way, don't forget to visit Singik View Point and Seven Sisters Falls. The view of this sightseeing is really a heavenly retreat from the hustle and bustle of a busy city. You can also enjoy the stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mount Siniolchu.

Having lunch at Namok and also taking a short tea break at Chungthang. These two spots are mid-way from Gangtok to Lachen. In the afternoon you will reach Lachen. On arrival in Lachen, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hote

Day 4: Lachen - Chopta Valley - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung

On this day, you will be driven to Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake (17200 ft / 70 km / 4-5 hrs). The trip can be an unforgettable memory. At 5 pm you should be ready and check out from Lachen Hotel for the trip to Gurdongmar. At a distance of 02 to 2.5 hours from Lachen, you may take the first stop at Tshangu 13000 Ft or 3963 Mts from sea level. Here take tea, bread butter, and maggi from the family kitchen of locals. You can experience the mountain lifestyle by sitting around the clay oven in the cold.

After another 4 Kms or 30 to 45 minutes drive from the place, reach the virgin and uninhabited land Chopta Valley which is situated at an altitude of 13500 Ft / 4116 Mts. This entire valley is covered with alpine vegetation.

From this place to Gurdongmar, almost the entire area is covered with army bunkers. It can be said to be a high desert where there is hardly any vegetation and all the terrain is rocky and dusty. The region is famous for its very cold and windy weather throughout the year. Advice is, since breathing here is a bit difficult, don't overexert yourself unnecessarily. In winter, the Gurdongmar lake is completely frozen which is very sacred to the local people. After spending some time at the lake, you will be transferred to Lachung (8000 ft / 2439 Mts, 60 Kms/ 3-4 hrs). Overnight stay at a hotel in Lachung.

Day5: Lachung - Yumthang Valley Excursion – Gangtok

You have to proceed on a half-day excursion tour to Yumthang Valley on Day 6. After breakfast and check out from Lachung Hotel, you will be taken to Yumthang Valley, covered with colorful Singba Rhododendrons. At an altitude of 11800 feet or 3598 meters above sea level, this valley is surrounded by snow-capped peaks that make it paradise on the lap of the Himalayas. You can find the hot springs, which are sacred to the locals. They believe that bathing in this holy water can cure many diseases. Proceed for return to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok Hotel.

Day 6: Transfer from Gangtok to Pelling

After the delicious breakfast at 9 am at the hotel, you will be driven for the sightseeing or city tour of Gangtok. It is a half-day tour, that covers the destination like the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Botanical Garden Ganesh Tok, Tashi View Point, Bakthang Water Falls (finest waterfalls close to Gangtok), Back to hotel at afternoon. After taking some rest, free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or the local Shopping center in the evening. Gangtok is the home of some elite restaurants and café. Night stay at the comfortable Gangtok Hotel.

Day 7: Full day sight-seeing tour in Pelling

Here is a full-day Pelling tour with a luxurious car. In the morning you will have breakfast from 8 to 8.30 am and then proceed for a full day of Pelling sightseeing tour which allows you to explore the beauty and mesmerizing view of the village. You will visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, Chenrezig Statue & Skywalk. After your lunch, you can proceed to more tourist destinations such as Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, and Rabdentse Ruins. Day 8: Transfer to NJP Railway Station / (Ixb) Bagdogra Airport

Vehicle as mentioned in the booking will be provided. Extra charges will be applicable if additional vehicle or upgraded vehicle is required due to travellers carrying extra or oversized luggage.
Tiger hill visit is subjected to availability of coupons as only 300 vehicles are allowed in the morning. Uncase of non-availability of coupons, we will provide the sightseeing at 10:00 am after breakfast.
While traveling to Tshangu Lake, Nathula Pass, Baba Mandir customers should carry valid photo ID proof which can ONLY be one of Driving License, Voter Card or Valid Passport.
NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign Nationals are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 2 years & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake.
Pan Card & Aadhar Card is not accepted as ID Proof to visit Nathula Pass, Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. The Photo ID Proof can be anyone of the following, Driving License, Voter Card, Valid Passport.
Most of the 2 star and 3 star hotels provide only Mattress not Extra bed.
At times due to events which are beyond control (e.g. local strikes, natural calamities), schedules and itineraries may be subject to last minute changes.
Telephone / Internet networks are non-existent in some areas.
Due to poor road infrastructure in North-east, journey between 2 places may take longer than expected. Top speed may be restricted to 30 km/hr at some places.
NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign Nationals will be allowed to visit Lachung, Yumthang & Yumesamdong, with a valid permit.
It is not advisable to visit Lachen from 1st January till 15th March as roads are closed due to snow.
Cars is not at disposal and will be only available for point to point transfers as per itinerary
Driving in hilly areas which are different from normal driving, speed limit would be 30 kms per hour.
Vehicles in Hill Areas – Even if you opt for AC vehicle, in hill stations AC is non-operational to avoid damage or mid-trip break down of the vehicle for your own convenience. Also, in several hill areas, commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music to prevent accidents
All entrance tickets to Museums , Monastries, Gardens, or any other Sightseeing spots are to be borne by the Customer and paid directly at the destination.
For Extra Person Sharing the Room & Child with Extra Bed, almost all the hotel of our area provides MATTRESS and ROLL OVERS as a supplement to Extra Bed.
The vehicle used will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point to point basis). It will change sector wise.
Credit cards / travellers checks are not freely accepted in North-east.
The AC will be on when the car is on move only. While travelling in the plains the clients would need AC, which will be switch on. When the car is travelling uphill AC will be switched off.
Most of the hotels do not have lift. You will have to climb stairs to reach your allotted rooms. Incase any of you, have problems with blood pressure, breathing, knee & heart or if you cannot climb the higher floors, you should report
Most hotels in north-east are very basic and may not be equivalent to similar star category hotels elsewhere in India.
As the vehicles & drivers change always, we will request you to be very careful with personal belongings. Once left in the vehicle, there is, almost nil or little chance, of getting it back.
At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).
Any ticket to attractions, museums, train, cable car, ferries, rides, safari, etc. are not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
