So there is no time of the year, these tourist destinations are empty. The tour includes 2 days in Gangtok and 2 days in Darjeeling. This region is a beautiful picture of the Himalayan landscape which is adorned with mountains, forests, flora, and fauna. Our package “Himalayan Odyssey” provides you with an in-depth exploration of these two cities and the regions around them. This journey passes through breathtaking natural settings as well as historical and cultural attractions.

The tour of Gangtok begins with a stroll on MG Road. MG Marg is the most vibrant and gorgeous area of Sikkim City, where you have to spend some time. Gangtok tour package also includes the Tsomgo Lake and Baba Temple tour. These two regions can be called the most visited tourist destinations in Sikkim.

Darjeeling, the queen of the hill, is also a scenic treasure of Northeast India and the northern region of West Bengal. You will spend the last two days of our tour package here and do a sightseeing tour in its surrounding area. Besides, it is an ideal place to enjoy the amazing beauty of Kanchan Jungha.

Day 1: Arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport and Transfer to Gangtok

After arriving at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you don't have to face taxi drivers, tourists, and travel agents chaos. Our executive will be waiting at the airport or railway station for you. Then you will reach Gangtok in a luxurious vehicle while enjoying the incredible natural beauty of the road.

It takes around 4 hours to reach Gangtok from Bagdogra and NJP railway stations. So if you reach the Airport or NJP in the morning you will reach Gangtok Hotel by noon. In the evening you can walk around the beautiful and well-maintained city of Gangtok. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 2: A full-day trip to Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir

In the early morning after a delicious and complete breakfast, you will depart for Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir by luxurious car which is considered the best tourist attraction of Sikkim.

Located at 12,210ft/3780 Mt feet above sea level and a distance of 43Kms from Gangtok, the mesmerizing Lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Most people go to Tshangu Lake to enjoy the snow on the mountain behind. It can be a great memory that stays in your mind for a long time. If you visit the lake in the winter season, you must enjoy the view of a frozen lake.

The New Baba Mandir is located at a height of 13100 feet/3994 meters, 16 kilometers from Tshangu Lake. It is a popular shrine dedicated to Major Harbhajan Mann for whom there are many miraculous stories. It is said that his disembodied spirit is still guarding the border between India and China. That's why people worship him. After spending some time here you have to leave for Gangtok again from that place.

On the way do not forget to visit Ganesh Talk. It is the highest point in Gangtok from where the evening view of Gangtok city is spectacular.

MG Road is an ideal place for an aimless stroll in Gangtok. Don't forget to taste some local delicacies during this time such as momos (steamed dumplings) and thukpa (a hearty noodle soup). Overnight stay at Gangtok

Day 3: A full-day Gangtok Sight Seeing trip

This morning after a delicious and heavy breakfast you will head towards Bakthang Falls. It is a serene waterfall that forms a pool of clear water and creates a magnificent view.

We will then proceed to Tashi View Point, from where you will have a breathtaking view of the majestic Kanchenjunga Mountain.

Then awaits you at the Department of Handicrafts and Handlooms where you will get a chance to explore the unique culture and traditional art forms of Gangtok. Then you will depart for Enche Monastery, this serene and beautiful monastery stands witness to the history and architecture of Sikkim.

We also plan to visit the Jayo Do Drul Chorten Stupa, which has 108 Mani Lakors, a flower show held at The Hall, where you will see a range of Sikkim's ornamental plants and rare orchids. Also, the Banjhakari Falls ropeway ride will give you a great experience that gives you a unique perspective of the area

Day 4: Transfer to Darjeeling and half-day sightseeing tour

After breakfast, you have to check out from the Gangtok hotel and transfer to “queen of hill” Darjeeling. The road from Gangtok to Darjeeling is surrounded by tea plantations, which makes you feel like you are walking on a green carpet. At the entrance to Darjeeling, you will be welcomed by the snowy Kanchenjunga.

After reaching Darjeeling, check-in at our 3 start hotel and proceed to half-day sightseeing of the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center & panoramic view of Tea Estate.

Return to hotel after the trip. Evening you can spend at Darjeeling mall. It is the most crowded and popular place in this city. You can also do local market shopping.

You should remember Himalayan Mountaineering Institute is closed on Thursday and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center is closed on Sunday. Both attractions are also closed for Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays

Day: 5 Morning trip at Tiger Hill and Batasia Loop and Departure Darjeeling and transfer to NJP Railway Station / (Ixb) Bagdogra Airport

Early morning you have to proceed for an adventure trip to Tiger Hill where you will witness the incomparable beauty of sunrise at Kanchenjunga. On the way back, don't forget to visit the Batasia Loop and Ghoom Station which are among the main attractions of Darjeeling.

After breakfast, you have to return back to NJP station or Bagdogra Airport with lots of memories.

Vehicle as mentioned in the booking will be provided. Extra charges will be applicable if additional vehicle or upgraded vehicle is required due to travellers carrying extra or oversized luggage.
Tiger hill visit is subjected to availability of coupons as only 300 vehicles are allowed in the morning. Uncase of non-availability of coupons, we will provide the sightseeing at 10:00 am after breakfast.
While traveling to Tshangu Lake, Nathula Pass, Baba Mandir customers should carry valid photo ID proof which can ONLY be one of Driving License, Voter Card or Valid Passport.
NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign Nationals are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 2 years & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake.
Pan Card & Aadhar Card is not accepted as ID Proof to visit Nathula Pass, Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. The Photo ID Proof can be anyone of the following, Driving License, Voter Card, Valid Passport.
Most of the 2 star and 3 star hotels provide only Mattress not Extra bed.
At times due to events which are beyond control (e.g. local strikes, natural calamities), schedules and itineraries may be subject to last minute changes.
Telephone / Internet networks are non-existent in some areas.
Due to poor road infrastructure in North-east, journey between 2 places may take longer than expected. Top speed may be restricted to 30 km/hr at some places.
NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign Nationals will be allowed to visit Lachung, Yumthang & Yumesamdong, with a valid permit.
It is not advisable to visit Lachen from 1st January till 15th March as roads are closed due to snow.
Cars is not at disposal and will be only available for point to point transfers as per itinerary
Driving in hilly areas which are different from normal driving, speed limit would be 30 kms per hour.
Vehicles in Hill Areas – Even if you opt for AC vehicle, in hill stations AC is non-operational to avoid damage or mid-trip break down of the vehicle for your own convenience. Also, in several hill areas, commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music to prevent accidents
All entrance tickets to Museums , Monastries, Gardens, or any other Sightseeing spots are to be borne by the Customer and paid directly at the destination.
For Extra Person Sharing the Room & Child with Extra Bed, almost all the hotel of our area provides MATTRESS and ROLL OVERS as a supplement to Extra Bed.
The vehicle used will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point to point basis). It will change sector wise.
Credit cards / travellers checks are not freely accepted in North-east.
The AC will be on when the car is on move only. While travelling in the plains the clients would need AC, which will be switch on. When the car is travelling uphill AC will be switched off.
Most of the hotels do not have lift. You will have to climb stairs to reach your allotted rooms. Incase any of you, have problems with blood pressure, breathing, knee & heart or if you cannot climb the higher floors, you should report
Most hotels in north-east are very basic and may not be equivalent to similar star category hotels elsewhere in India.
As the vehicles & drivers change always, we will request you to be very careful with personal belongings. Once left in the vehicle, there is, almost nil or little chance, of getting it back.
At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).
Any ticket to attractions, museums, train, cable car, ferries, rides, safari, etc. are not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.
