Air France and KLM are adding more flights between Paris/Amsterdam and Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru until February.
Air France has introduced an additional thrice-weekly flight from Paris to both Delhi and Mumbai, meeting high travel demand.
KLM is increasing its Bengaluru-Amsterdam route from four to six flights weekly and will add a second thrice-weekly Amsterdam-Delhi flight from January through March.
Air France will use Airbus A350 and Boeing B777 aircraft, while KLM will operate Boeing 787s on these routes, providing fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
The increase in flights comes as more Indians travel to Europe, spurred by higher disposable incomes, interest in European culture, and favorable exchange rates.
Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, and Barcelona are top choices for Indian tourists, attracted by Europe’s history, landscapes, and diverse experiences.
The Schengen visa process has been streamlined, with shorter processing times and simplified documentation for Indian travelers.
Some European countries are piloting multi-entry visas and longer validity for frequent visitors, further encouraging Indian tourism.
The increased flights align with efforts to support business and tourism exchanges between India and Europe.
