Indian passport

At all ports of entry in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indian nationals with regular passports are now being granted visas upon arrival.

People who currently have green cards, permanent residence permits, or valid visas issued by the US, UK, or any EU country will also be covered by the new visa-on-arrival regime.

After paying the required costs in compliance with the relevant UAE regulations, those mentioned earlier will have the choice of obtaining a visa on arrival for 14 days, which can be extended for a comparable amount of time, or obtaining a visa on arrival for 60 days, which cannot be extended.

The Indian mission in the United Arab Emirates declared on social media on October 17 that these passports will be valid for six months.

In February of this year, Emirates and VFS Global established a special collaboration to offer Indian passport holders a pre-approved visa upon arrival in Dubai.
We have teamed up with VFS Global to provide Indian passport holders who have made travel arrangements via us the option of obtaining a pre-approved visa upon arrival. Customers will be able to bypass lines when they arrive in Dubai thanks to the new procedure,” the airline wrote in a social media post.

In an effort to promote business, tourist, and economic relations, Dubai offered Indians a five-year multiple-entry visa that same month.

2.46 million Indian overnight tourists were received by the city-state in 2023, a 25% increase over pre-pandemic levels. On February 22, Dubai’s department of economy and tourism said that India was now the top sourcing market.
