Good news for Indian passports! Thailand now allows two-month visa-free travel. Great, huh? In an effort to encourage tourism, the Thailand government has chosen to open doors for persons from many walks of life, including workers, students, and retirees, providing them the option to prolong their stay in Thailand.

Welcome policy shift includes 93 nations. International tourism has dropped owing to the COVID-19 epidemic. Thailand and other nations have taken steps to increase tourism and attract international tourists. Mostly, visa rules are relaxed.

Thailand’s recent move to enable remote workers, graduate students, and retirees to remain for prolonged periods accords with its objective to enhance tourism and improve the economy. This progressive action will come into effect next month, enabling tourists from 93 countries the ability to experience Thailand for a total of 60 days, providing adequate time to immerse themselves in its rich culture and stunning surroundings.

Furthermore, remote workers will benefit from an extended visa validity of five years, with each stay restricted to 180 days. Thailand, recognized for its affordability and appeal, has long been a favorite destination for tourists worldwide. In 2023 alone, the nation attracted roughly 24.5 million foreign visitors.
