IndiGo to Launch Daily Direct Flights from Kolkata to Phuket Starting December 27

IndiGo is set to expand its network with the launch of direct flights between Kolkata and Phuket, beginning on December 27. This daily service will offer travelers an affordable and convenient option for reaching one of Thailand’s most popular tourist destinations.

This new route will be IndiGo’s second direct connection to Phuket, following its flights from Delhi. With this addition, the airline aims to cater to the increasing demand for travel between India and Thailand, boosting both tourism and trade between the two regions.

In a statement, Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s head of global sales, highlighted that the airline is excited to enhance its presence in Thailand. “In addition to our 11 weekly flights to Bangkok, the new daily service to Phuket will bring the total number of weekly flights between India and Thailand to 93,” he said.

Phuket, renowned for its stunning beaches and cultural richness, is expected to see an even greater influx of Indian tourists, particularly with Thailand’s visa-free policy for Indian passport holders. IndiGo remains committed to providing a seamless travel experience, ensuring on-time performance, courteous service, and affordability for all passengers.
